MISSION & VISION

Our Mission

The NCORC will endeavor to eliminate chronic poverty and homelessness in individuals seeking our help through our outreach program by identifying the root cause of their problem and empowering them to overcome it. We will empower and bring Hope to the underserved communities, disadvantaged families and homeless in the Middle Tn area or where ever we are needed.

We will accomplish this through individual needs assessment and meeting the immediate need of such items as food, clothing, referrals for medical attention using a holistic approach offering spiritual and financial counseling, behavior modification through recovery and re-entry programs, job readiness training an education, help in locating affordable housing and encouraging the importance of giving back to the community through volunteerism.

Our Vision

The NCORC's vision is restore hope, dignity and improve the quality of life for the homeless, individuals and families facing financial hardship due the loss of a job, loss of primary provider either to divorce, death or incarceration, drug and alcohol abuse, fleeing a domestic violence situation or what ever life choice or circumstance has brought them to this point. We will do this with a loving hand up not just a hand out.

Our Non Discrimination Policy

The NCORC (our board members and volunteers) will serve every one without discrimination regardless of age, race, creed, gender, handicap, sexual orientation, gender identity, ethnicity or national origin.
